Iron Mann Industries provides certified MIG, TIG, and Stick welding for steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Dennis Mann holds AWS Level I (structural) and Level II (pipe) certifications, which means every weld meets the standards required for load-bearing, structural, and code-compliant work.
We weld in-shop and on-site. Our mobile welding unit serves Genesee County and the surrounding Mid-Michigan area, so if your equipment, structure, or asset can’t come to us, we come to you.
Welding Processes
MIG Welding
Our go-to for production work and structural steel. MIG is fast, efficient, and produces strong, consistent welds on carbon steel and aluminum. Most fabrication and repair jobs run through MIG.
TIG Welding
For work where precision and appearance matter. TIG welding gives us the control needed for thin materials, aluminum, stainless steel, and visible welds on architectural projects like railings and staircases. It’s slower than MIG, but when the application demands a clean bead with zero spatter, TIG is the right process.
Stick Welding
The workhorse for field repairs and heavy structural work. Stick welding handles dirty, rusted, or painted surfaces better than MIG or TIG, which makes it ideal for on-site repair jobs, structural beam work, and heavy equipment in less-than-perfect conditions.
Materials We Weld
- Carbon steel (mild steel, structural steel)
- Stainless steel (food-grade, sanitary, process piping)
- Aluminum (structural, marine, sheet)
- Specialty applications including brass and copper alloys
If you’re not sure which process or material is right for your project, just describe what you need. We’ll recommend the right approach based on the application, load requirements, and budget.

Mobile Welding
Not everything fits in a truck. Our fully equipped mobile welding unit brings our capabilities directly to your location. If you have heavy equipment that’s down, structural steel that needs repair in place, or an on-site installation that requires welding, we come to you.
Mobile welding is available throughout Genesee County and surrounding areas, including Flint, Burton, Fenton, Grand Blanc, Davison, Lapeer, Swartz Creek, and beyond. We carry MIG, TIG, and Stick equipment on the truck so we can handle whatever the job requires on-site.
Common mobile welding calls include broken security gates, damaged fencing, structural repairs on buildings, heavy equipment that can’t be moved, and installation work for steel beams, railings, and platforms.
Emergency Welding Repair
When a machine goes down on the production floor or a structural failure needs immediate attention, you can’t wait for a scheduled appointment. We offer emergency repair service for situations where downtime is costing you money. For broader industrial machinery repair including replacement parts and diagnostics, we handle that scope as well.
Call us at (810) 407-7585. If we can get to you, we will. Emergency service is available for both in-shop and mobile on-site repairs. We prioritize emergency calls based on safety and production impact.
Property Maintenance
We work with property management companies across the area on ongoing maintenance and repair. Broken gates, damaged railings, fence repair, bollard replacement, and general structural repairs across apartment complexes, commercial properties, and industrial facilities. If you manage multiple properties and need a reliable welding contractor you can call when something breaks, that’s a relationship we’re set up for.
Why Choose a Certified Welder
Certification matters. AWS Level I means Dennis is tested and qualified for structural welding. Level II covers pipe welding. These aren’t self-awarded titles. They require passing physical weld tests evaluated by certified inspectors. When your project involves load-bearing structures, code compliance, or safety-critical components, certification is the difference between a weld that holds and one that doesn’t.
Beyond the certifications, Dennis has over 20 years of hands-on welding experience across every process and material we offer. He’s still on the shop floor doing the work, not just managing it.
Certified welds, honest answers, and we pick up the phone. That’s the Iron Mann way.
