Bring us your CAD drawings, engineering prints, or a sketch on a napkin. If you can describe it, we can build it. Iron Mann Industries is a build-to-print fabrication shop, which means we specialize in manufacturing the parts and assemblies you can’t buy off the shelf.
We work directly from your specifications. No middlemen, no outsourcing, no delays. Your project stays under one roof from first cut to final inspection. That’s how we maintain quality control and keep turnaround times tight.
What We Fabricate
Our 4,000 sq. ft. facility in Flint handles projects ranging from single custom pieces to short production runs. We work on both the industrial and architectural side, which means we’re just as comfortable building machine guards for a factory floor as we are fabricating a custom steel staircase for a high-end home.

If your project involves steel, aluminum, or stainless steel and needs to be fabricated to spec, this is what we do every day.
Materials We Work With
We fabricate in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys. Whether your application calls for structural-grade mild steel for an industrial platform, food-safe stainless for a commercial kitchen, or brushed aluminum for an architectural railing, we have the equipment and expertise to work with it. If you’re not sure which material is right for your project, we can help you figure that out.
Our Process
1. Consultation
Call us or send over your prints. We review your drawings, ask questions, and make sure we understand exactly what you need before we quote it. For architectural projects, we can work from architect drawings or collaborate on design details directly.
2. Quoting
You get a clear, itemized quote. No hidden fees, no surprises. We price based on materials, complexity, and timeline.
3. Fabrication
Your project is built in-house using CNC machining, certified welding (MIG, TIG, and Stick), plasma cutting, shearing, and forming. Every step happens under our roof with our team.
4. Quality Check and Delivery
Every piece is inspected before it leaves the shop. We verify dimensions, weld quality, and finish. For projects that need it, we coordinate powder coating or galvanizing before delivery. If your project requires on-site installation, our mobile welding unit handles that too.
In-House Capabilities
Everything we offer works together. A single fabrication project might require CNC machining for precision components, certified welding for structural joints, and plasma cutting for plate work. Because all of these capabilities are under one roof, your project moves faster and costs less than splitting it across multiple vendors.
- CNC milling and turning for precision components
- MIG, TIG, and Stick welding (AWS Level I and II certified)
- Plasma cutting and metal shearing
- Bending, forming, and rolling
- Mobile welding for on-site installation and field repairs
- Powder coating and galvanizing coordination
Industries and Clients We Serve
We work with manufacturing plants, automotive suppliers, construction contractors, property management companies, architects, builders, and homeowners throughout Genesee County and Mid-Michigan. Whether you’re a plant manager who needs machine guards fabricated to OSHA spec, a general contractor building out a commercial space, or a homeowner who wants a custom steel staircase that nobody else in town can build, we handle it.
We also take on individual and small business projects. A custom bracket, a prototype for a product you’re developing, or a one-off piece of metal furniture. We treat your job with the same attention as a 500-piece production run.
Why Iron Mann for Metal Fabrication
Dennis Mann founded Iron Mann Industries in 2014 with over 20 years of hands-on metalworking experience. He’s still on the shop floor for every project. When you call, you talk to the people who actually build your parts.
We’re a family-owned shop competing against larger operations in the Flint area. Our overhead is lower, our communication is faster, and our quality standards are the same. You get industrial-grade fabrication with the responsiveness and flexibility of a local shop that actually picks up the phone.
No outsourcing. No runaround. Just straight answers and quality metalwork. That’s the Iron Mann way.
