IronMann Industries isn’t just a trailer dealer. We’re a full metal fabrication and certified welding shop that designs, builds, sells, repairs, and modifies trailers right here in our Flint facility. Every trailer we sell is built by us. Every repair is done in-house. When your trailer needs structural work, an axle swap, a full rewire, or a custom modification, it all happens under one roof with the same crew that built it.
We also carry trailer parts, tires, and LED lighting kits in stock for the most common utility and equipment trailer setups.
New IronMann Trailers
We build and sell two standard trailer models out of our shop. Both are designed for Michigan conditions: double coated paint to handle salt, moisture, and freeze-thaw cycles, and 100% welded frames where some manufacturers cut corners with stitch or spot welds. Every main frame member and cross brace is fully welded. That’s the difference between a trailer that holds up after five Michigan winters and one that starts cracking at the joints after two.
82″ x 14′ Utility Trailer

Our 14-foot utility trailer is 82 inches wide, which gives you enough room to load a side-by-side, lawn equipment, landscaping materials, or whatever else you need to move. It comes standard with LED lights, light enclosures, a treated 2×6 wood deck, a drop gate, a spare tire mount, and a 4-way plug already wired and ready to go. Gate assist is available as an option.
Starting at $2,200
82″ x 24′ Equipment Trailer (14,000 lb)

This is our heavy-duty equipment hauler. 82 inches wide with a 21-foot deck and a 3-foot dovetail. It’s rated for 14,000 lbs with brakes on all wheels. Ramps are included and store under the trailer on slide-in mounts so they’re out of the way but always with you. Comes standard with LED lights, stake pockets, 6 D-rings, a spare tire mount, a winch plate, and a 7-way plug wired and ready. Optional add-ons include reverse lights and a welded steel toolbox mounted to the tongue.
Starting at $5,500
Why Our Trailers Are Built Different
We build these trailers ourselves in our Flint shop using locally sourced steel and components. That means we control the quality at every step. Here’s what you get that you won’t find on most factory trailers at this price point:

- 100% welded frames. Every main frame member and cross brace is fully welded, not stitch welded or spot welded. That’s more labor and more material, but it’s the right way to build a frame that’s going to get loaded hard and towed on Michigan roads.
- Double coat paint. Two coats of paint to protect against road salt, moisture, and the freeze-thaw cycles that eat cheap trailers alive.
- Taskmaster radial tires with a 1-year roadside assistance warranty (no questions asked) and a 2-year manufacturer wheel warranty. Radials run cooler, last longer, and handle better than bias-ply tires on highway towing. We stock 15″ and 16″ sizes.
- LED lighting throughout. Brighter, more durable, and sealed against water intrusion. No more replacing burnt-out incandescent bulbs every season.
- Competitive pricing. Because we build in-house with low overhead, you’re getting a hand-built, fully welded trailer at a price that competes with mass-produced factory units that aren’t built to the same standard.
Want to see our trailers in person? Stop by the shop at 2110 Lapeer Road in Flint or call (810) 407-7585 to ask about current inventory and pricing. We also build custom trailers to your specifications if our standard models aren’t exactly what you need.
Custom Trailer Modifications
If you have a trailer that almost does what you need but not quite, we can fix that. We modify trailers to fit how you actually use them. Because we’re a fabrication and welding shop, not just a parts counter, we can build and install things that bolt-on accessories can’t match.
- Rear stabilizer jacks
- Additional stake pockets
- Extra D-rings and tie-down points
- Spare tire mounts
- Extended side rails for taller loads
- Gate assist installation
- Custom toolbox fabrication and mounting
- Anything else you can describe. If it involves steel and welding, we can probably build it.
Trailer Repairs
Trailers break. Bearings go out, brakes wear down, wiring corrodes, frames crack. Most trailer owners either ignore it until something fails on the highway or take it to a general mechanic who doesn’t really know trailer work. We’re a dedicated trailer repair shop with the welding certifications, machining capabilities, and fabrication equipment to handle any repair properly.
Here’s what we work on:
- Hubs and brakes. Bearing repacks, seal replacement, brake shoe and magnet replacement, drum inspection, and complete hub assemblies.
- Axles. Bent axle straightening, spindle replacement, complete axle swaps, and capacity upgrades.
- Leaf springs and hangers. Cracked or broken spring replacement, worn shackle bolts, bent or cracked hanger repair, and U-bolt retorquing.
- Jacks. Tongue jack repair and replacement, stabilizer jack installation.
- Lights and wiring. Ground connection repair, LED upgrades, full rewiring, plug replacement, and connector troubleshooting.
- Structural repair. Frame crack repair, crossmember replacement, tongue repair, rust damage repair, and structural reinforcement. All structural welding is done by an AWS certified welder.
- Gate assist installation. Makes heavy drop gates easier to lift. Simple upgrade that saves your back.
Free Trailer Safety Inspection
We offer a complimentary multi-point trailer inspection at our shop. No charge, no obligation. We go through the trailer and tell you exactly what’s good and what needs attention. If everything checks out, you’re on your way. If we find something, we’ll show you and give you a straight answer on what it’ll cost to fix.
Our inspection covers:
- Brakes (engagement, shoe thickness, magnet condition)
- Lights (all functions, ground connections, housing condition)
- Axles (alignment, condition, evidence of overloading)
- Hub bearings (spin test, play check, grease condition)
- Hangers and shackles (welds, bolt condition, wear)
- Bolts (loose, worn, or missing hardware throughout)
- Coupler (latch engagement, body condition, safety chain attachment)
- Tongue (jack operation, structural integrity, weld condition)
- Structural defects (frame cracks, rust damage, deformation)
This is especially worth doing if you just bought a used trailer, if your trailer has been sitting for a while, or if you want peace of mind before towing season. For more detail on what to check yourself before hooking up, read our spring trailer inspection checklist.
LED Trailer Light Kits
If your trailer is still running incandescent lights, upgrading to LED is one of the best things you can do for reliability. LEDs are brighter, draw less power, last years longer, and are sealed against moisture. No more replacing bulbs every spring because water got into the housing over the winter.
We sell and install complete LED light kits using TecNiq lights, which are commercial-grade and built for trailer applications. The kits include:
- 6″ LED oval lights (tail, brake, turn)
- 2″ LED round marker lights
- 3/4″ LED bullet lights (clearance and side markers)
We handle the full installation including wiring, grounding, and making sure everything functions correctly with your tow vehicle. If you’ve been chasing electrical problems on your trailer, a full LED rewire often solves the issue for good.
Trailer Tires
We stock Taskmaster radial trailer tires in 15″ and 16″ sizes. Radial tires are the right choice for trailer use. They run cooler than bias-ply tires, offer better fuel efficiency, handle better at highway speeds, and last significantly longer. Typical tread life on a radial trailer tire is around 40,000 miles compared to about 12,000 on a bias-ply. If you’re doing any highway towing or long-distance hauling, radials are the only way to go.
Every tire we sell comes with:
- 1-year roadside assistance. No questions asked. You get a flat or a blowout on the road, you’re covered.
- 2-year manufacturer wheel warranty.
We mount and install tires at the shop. If you’re not sure what size or load rating you need, bring the trailer by or give us a call with the numbers off your current tires and we’ll get you set up.
Trailer Parts In Stock
We keep the most common trailer parts on hand for 3,500 lb utility trailers and equipment trailers. Hubs, bearings, seals, brake assemblies, lights, wiring harnesses, couplers, jacks, and hardware. If you know what you need, call ahead and we can tell you if it’s on the shelf. If you’re not sure what’s wrong, bring the trailer in and we’ll figure it out.
